Case Study: Reimagining Middle School in Salem, MA

In 2022, WPS partnered with visionary leaders in Salem, Massachusetts to advance the reimagining middle school initiative at Collins Middle School, a Title 1 campus with just over 600 students enrolled.
In years one and two of the pilot program, chronic absenteeism in the pilot decreased by 50% and more than half of the students enrolled agreed with the statement, "Overall, most of the time I love school."
